Manager Procurement

  • To assist the General Manager/Head of Procurement in the procurement of goods/services/works as per the requirements of the Punjab Procurement Rules 2014/PPRA Act 2009
  • Coordinate, supervise, and evaluate all procurement-related activities.
  • Ensure timely, efficient, economical, and effective procurement of all items, supplies, goods, services, etc., as and when required by the Company in compliance with applicable rules and regulations
  • Ensure development of quality bidding documents for the procurements in coordination
  • with relevant sections/task leads of the company on a timely basis (local and/or international)
  • Ensuring presentations of the bid documents, bid evaluation reports, and all other related documents to the relevant Committee(s), recording decisions and minutes of the meetings, and processing of procurement cases for approval from the competent authority
  • Ensure annual procurement plans are developed and updated as and when required, and uploaded on the PPRA website as per rules
  • Prepare reports on procurement plan compliance and share with relevant management personnel
  • Develop and implement SOPs for end-to-end procurement, including but not limited to placement of approved procurement requisition, publishing of advertisement, uploading of tender, finalizing and signing off on the bid document, and successful execution of all processes for goods, works, services, (local and international) consultancies, civil works, etc.
  • Proficiently working on the operations, management, and handling of the e-Pads system.
  • Provide necessary support to the procurement section in managing day-to-day affairs
  • Provide advice and support to Senior Management for identifying opportunities to improve procurement outcomes, efficiency, and value for money
  • Provide advice and support to staff within the Company on procurement-related tasks as and when required.
