Research Analyst – Economics

  • Conduct thorough analysis on economic development trends, draft reports and policy recommendations, and collaborate with stakeholders on sustainable economic strategies.
  • Provide insights into market dynamics and socioeconomic impacts of various development projects.
  • Support in executing project activities, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and timelines.

Senior Research Analyst – Economics

  • Propose strategies to promote sustainable economic growth, investment, and private sector development through special initiatives.
  • Design and implement programs that promote balanced regional economic development and expand economic opportunities in underserved areas.
  • Develop and propose suggestions for improving the productivity and competitiveness of key economic and industrial sectors.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to implement cost-effective and sustainable solutions.
  • Propose and design projects aimed at establishing or upgrading industrial estates, economic zones, and related facilities in identified areas to meet local needs.
  • Develop indices to measure economic and industrial development across various regions.
  • Analyze economic and industrial data to identify trends, disparities, and areas for improvement.
  • Propose evidence-based policy recommendations to improve economic outcomes, promote industrial growth, and reduce regional disparities.

Qualification:

Farm Manager

  • Plan, supervise, and manage all day-to-day farm operations.
  • Coordinate land preparation, sowing, irrigation, fertilizer application, plant protection, harvesting, and post-harvest activities.
  • Ensure proper utilization and maintenance of farm machinery, equipment, irrigation systems, and project assets.
  • Maintain records of crop production, farm inputs, labor, machinery use, yields, and farm expenditures.
  • Coordinate with project experts, consultants, researchers, extension staff, and farmers during field activities and demonstrations.
  • Prepare periodic progress reports, work plans, inventories, and other documentation as required.
  • Perform any other project-related assignment entrusted by the Project Manager.
  • Assist in conducting events, stakeholder consultations and workshops
  • Remain available through telephone and online communication during working hours and, where required, beyond office hours to ensure timely coordination

Qualification:

  • Bachelor's degree (16 years of education) in Agriculture, Agricultural Engineering, or a related discipline from HEC-recognized university.

Experience:

  • Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience in farm management, crop production, Climate Smart Agriculture, demonstration farms, or agricultural development projects.

Research Associate Economics

  • Conduct research on political economy, identifying key products for each region based on data and evidence.
  • Assist in identifying and developing frameworks for analyzing existing policies and reforms.
  • Assist in coordinating with and engaging other government departments to gather information as required.
  • Assist in mapping potential areas for economic interventions and accordingly propose projects.
  • Review secondary data and conduct analysis to support policy and program research, and propose recommendations.
  • Any other task assigned by the task lead / supervisor / competent authority.
  • Excellent communication, report-writing, and presentation abilities.
